THE COUNCIL OF ALL BEINGS

The Council of All Beings is a powerful community ritual practice created by Joanna Macy and John Seed. In this ritual, participants will embody the principles of Deep Ecology, which promotes the worth of all living beings. Through the Council of All Beings people are able to intimately connect with other-than-human life forms and bring forth messages of truth and guidance.

In these workshops participants will deepen their intuitive and compassionate practices while gaining skills towards community building with adaptability and creativity. Council practice will be taught and explored in a safe and inclusive environment. These workshops are designed to create and promote hope, curiosity, and regeneration.

March 9th, 1-4pm:
Introduction to the Council of All Beings and council practice, intuitive skills building practices, and time to be with the land.

April 6th, 1-4pm:
Mask making. All materials will be provided. Participants are also welcome to bring materials they wish to create with. Embodiment practices will be shared to better relate with other-than-human species.

May 17th, 1-4pm:
Council of All Beings will be held and integration practices will be discussed.

Vanessa and Rhett Tavernetti, co-founders of Earth Magic Academy, serve as life purpose guides, nature-based educators, and spiritual mentors. Together, they help people of all ages be more grounded, focused, nourished, and confident in their purpose through deepening their connection with the Earth and Spirit. With 30 years of experience, they offer classes to strengthen intuitive gifts, Earth-based skills workshops, and qnd Spirit-led readings — all with the focus of reconnecting with the Earth and Spirit. The Tavernettis live in the mountains outside of Boulder, Colorado with their daughter and a number of furry animals. Vanessa is Adjunt Faculty at Naropa University where she holds an MA in Ecopsychology.
